John Lennon stage used vintage Fender Bandstand Amp

John Lennon - The Beatles, stage used Fender bandstand amp.

In the early days of the Beatles, the band, while between shows at the Star Club in Hamburg used to go watch Austrian Performer Jackie Spelter. Jackie played a heavy mix of Rock 'n' Roll songs which influenced the fab four.

Later on in their careers while filming HELP! the Beatles noticed that their old friend Jackie Spelter had a residency in a local Austrian hotel.

The Fab four were invited to play with Spelter and performed many Rock 'n' Roll Classics from their early Hamburg era.

Lennon is pictured using Jackie's original Fender Jazzmaster and Fender Bandmaster with McCartney singing and playing piano.
